Natural Carpet Cleaning Products By Aquamist

Harsh chemicals were once the norm for carpet cleaning products around Victoria. In the past, people would happily saturate their homes with all kinds of toxic detergents. Carpet cleaning companies would eagerly sell their customers the strongest chemicals they could manufacture claiming that this was the only way to effectively clean a home. Everyone was oblivious to the effect that these poisons had not only on the environment, but also on their family’s health. These were the dark ages of the cleaning industry.Today, we know that quality carpet cleaning products do not have to be a drain on the planet or on our health. At Aquamist, we are proud to offer 100% organic cleaning products. You can rest easy that your family and your pets will be safe from exposure to a cleaned carpet or area rug. This is your home, after all, and it should be safe for you to relax with your loved ones.

Volatile Organic Compounds

Many cleaning products emit large quantities of volatile organic compounds (or VOCs). These are known to cause a wide range of health problems when heavily concentrated. Problems range from eye irritation to damage to the nervous system. Some VOCs are even thought to cause cancer. If that weren’t bad enough, VOCs can even wreak havoc on the environment. They are principal ingredients in urban smog and when they make their way outside, they contaminate our ground water. To avoid all of these hazards, Aquamist has made sure that our products have a very low VOC rating. We want to ensure that your home stays safe and that we have a minimal impact on our planet.
